Dean has over 14 years’ experience in professional cookery, specialising in fine dining. Dean has worked in 5 star hotels and Michelin star kitchens in the UK and Sydney. After 10 years in top kitchens Dean decided to branch into the private sector. He has been fortunate enough to work for A-list actors including Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth on a feature film. From there Dean went to work for HNW families' and sport professionals in some of the most prestigious homes in the UK.
Michelle, married to Dean, continues to contribute to the growth of the business ‘Dean Harper Fine Dining’ (DHFD). Michelle’s expertise lies in her efficient organisational skills, innovative ideas and directorship of the dinner parties. Michelle and Dean spend a lot of time eating out in a range of top restaurants and hotels in London and Manchester. This enables Michelle and Dean to stay on top of the latest trends and gain inspiration within the industry to ensure this is conveyed throughout all the exclusive dinner parties which the business offers.
Gerry has over 20 years’ experience working within professional kitchens. Gerry worked for Gary Rhodes and had a good grounding in his Michelin star kitchen, where he learnt all aspects of cookery. Gerry later went on to complete a long stint at ‘La Tante Claire’ for the legendary Pierre Koffmann at 3-star level, learning how to cook at the highest level of French cuisine. Gerry has now joined Dean’s team to showcase his skills. Since working for Dean, he has worked for prestigious families and top sporting professionals.
Ian is an exceptional chef with over 16 years’ experience within the industry. He has extensive knowledge of multiple cuisines from working at the Marriott resorts internationally as an executive chef. Ian has cooked for some of the best footballers in the world and high profile companies. His caption of ingredients is reflected within his culinary work. After leaving the Marriott, Ian went on to work with Dean in his ever-growing company. He has cooked for UHNW clients all over the UK and overseas. A fantastic chef to have on board.
Agnes has 12 years’ experience in hospitality. Agnes has worked in high end restaurants in Manchester. She has a great understanding of food and wine and her people skills are second to none. She has a warm, friendly, fun and unassuming personality. She is highly attentive but with a discreet and easy manor. Nothing is too much trouble, she will go out of her way to make your evening special and to take all the stress off the host.
Mathew has over 14 years working in 5 star hotels, cooking for premiership football teams and VIP celebrities. Through this, he has gained extensive experience working in fine dining and has a huge understanding of modern and classical French cookery. Mathew later went onto work for first class airlines, Etihad, where he was promoted quickly to ‘Senior Inflight Chef’. Matthew produces beautifully well balanced dishes for only the highest clientele on board, using the best produce which has been sourced globally. It’s a delight to have Matthew as part of the team.
Verity has 12 years’ experience in hospitality. She has worked in high end establishments in London and Manchester and has a vast knowledge of food and wine. Verity encourages an efficient, discreet and friendly service with a huge focus on attention to detail. Previous experience involved training staff in top restaurants. Verity’s strong people skills and devotion to hard work shines through, reassuring customers with confidence.
Thomas has over 14 years’ experience working as a professional chef, Thomas has an enormous passion for cooking and local produce. He has worked in 5 star hotels and Michelin star kitchens all around the UK. He shows great respect when cooking his dishes and puts a huge amount of time into his work, Thomas is a very focused chef. Once he finished his time in top kitchens he went to work on private yachts and has successfully found his dream job. He has worked for some of the most prestigious Russian families. It’s a great honour to have Thomas as part of the team.
